Second Circuit Judge Bradley Zell, sentenced him to die by lethal injection. The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Texas Rangers in Game 7 of the World Series. October 29 Second Circuit Judge Bradley Zell sentenced Eric Robert, 49, to death, one day after Robert told Judge Zell he regretted not killing another officer or that he will kill again. Robert plead guilty to bashing 63-year-old Ronald Johnson with a pipe on April 12, he also covered his mouth with wrap and wore the dead officers uniform in a failed escape attempt. November 7 Thousands of protesters gathered in Washington, DC to oppose the plan for a transnational oil pipeline that they fear could harm the environment.
