General Election Ballot
Order Drawing
PIERRE, S.D. –Secretary of State
Shantel Krebs will be conducting the
ballot order drawing for the 2018
General Election ballot on Wednesday,
August 15th at 9:00 a.m. Central Time.
Drawing for party order and then
candidate order will take place in the
Secretary of State’s office in the Capitol
at 500 E. Capitol Avenue, Suite 204,
Pierre, SD 57501.
When the drawing for ballot order
is concluded, Secretary Krebs will
certify the candidates to the county
auditors and they will then conduct
their drawing for ballot order for county
candidates. It should be noted that
unopposed county candidates do not
appear on the General Election ballot.
All members of the public are
welcome to attend.
