Habitat for Humanity of Yankton County seeks to put God’s love into action by addressing urgent housing needs in our communities, nation and world. We are a Christian housing ministry founded in 1996, emerged from a simple dream; to unite people, communities, churches, and businesses in a spirit of a true partnership by building homes with families in need, regardless of race, nationality, or religion. This ministry is financed through private donations and utilizing volunteer labor. In August watch for our Celebrating 20 Year in Yankton County Event Selling Tickets for: How do I donate? The House That Jack Built Raffle There are a variety of ways to donate to support our mission. Monetary Donations, Volunteer Labor, Material Donations, Recurring Gift, Matching Gifts, Donate by Mail, Sponsor a Home/ Co-Sponsor a Home, Give a In Honor of or a In Memorial of Gift or Professional Services Donations. Habitat for Humanity is very blessed to have the support of our partner families and we are very excited that Jack and Taria Bradley are wanting to pay it forward to help other families realize their dream of becoming a homeowner. When the Bradley’s home was dedicated, a group of teacher volunteers gifted books to their children and one of the books was titled, “The House That Jack Built.” Jack built a playhouse and has donated it to Habitat for Humanity. He said he personally wants to sell 150 tickets. Habitat will be supporting the sales efforts as well. We have raffle tickets available at the Habitat office located at 610 W. 23rd Street Ste. 11, you can purchase tickets from any of our Board of Directors or from the Habitat 500 Bike Team. The cost is 1 ticket for $10 or 3 for $25. http://www.habitatclayyankton.org/ Our Mission: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity of Yankton County brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
