This Disc Golf Challenge will provide support for the Yankton County Parents as Teacher Program. This fun challenge will have three divisions including Advanced, Recreational, and non-competitive. There is an early bird fee prior to Aug. 23, and a higher fee thereafter. The top two Advanced Teams will receive a cash payout, the first-place Recreation Team will receive cash back and a disc while the non-competitive team will have a fun round and support Parents as Teachers. Jesse Bailey, tournament organizer, expects to draw more than the 20 teams that participated last year. A Dynamic Disc Sniper bag will be a raffle prize and you need not be present to win. Ace Hardware is donating prizes as well for this event. Deanna Branaugh, educator/coordinator of Yankton County Parents as Teachers, said, “Last year, we had great teams compete and they were so good humored as they were soaking wet as a storm came through the area. Several of the Yankton disc golfers also donated discs for prizes as did Ace Hardware.
