RELAXATION! December 2nd VERMILLION — The Vermillion Area Arts Council will host the first Members’ Exhibit Dec. 3-31. This exhibit takes place at the First Dakota National Bank Coyote Gallery, 12 E Main Street, and represents a collaboration between the Vermillion Area Arts Council, and the Vermillion Cultural Association. The exhibit, which will be open to any wallhung artworks, fiber art, sculpture, ceramic, glass, or book arts, is an effort to reenergize their membership, promote their mission, and build new partnerships across the community. Almost any creator of visual artworks is encouraged to participate, regardless of medium, exhibition history or length of time as a member. In this exhibit the VAAC hopes to represent artists from across Clay County, united in their support for one another in a dynamic show that embodies the passions and efforts associated with the act of creation. While there is no cost to participate in the exhibit, each artist member is limited to two submissions.
