Yankton High School Announces Its 2019 Homecoming Schedule Yankton High School has prided itself on exciting and unique homecoming activities ever since 1925 when homecoming first originated. This year marks the 94th homecoming celebration. On Thursday, September 5th seniors chose the 2019 Royalty. In alphabetical order they are: Homecoming “Princess” candidates: Jaiden Boomsma, Liliana Dannenbring, Lauren Eidsness, Paige Hoesing & Ivy Mines.
