The schedule includes: Avenue of Flags, Memorial Park, 8am-5pm. Cemetery flags erected at boundaries of cemetery at 1pm Saturday, down at 5pm Monday. Color Guard Ceremony: 9am-VFW plot Yankton Cemetery; 9:15am- GAR plot; 9:30am- Sacred Heart Cemetery; 9:45am- Human Services Center Cemetery; 10am- Garden of Memories Cemetery; 11am-Fantle Memorial Park. The 11am program will feature guest speaker Dave Hosmer. Post Commander Chuck Stoddard will be Master of Ceremonies. This is sponsored by the VFW Post and its Auxiliary, Roy Anderson Post American Legion and it’s Auxiliary. On Monday. May 27th the Post, Auxiliary and Sons will host a Memorial Day program at 10:00 AM in the Meeting Room of the Irene Community Center. Commander Chris Olson will be in charge. Music and poems will be by the Auxiliary.
