Robinson St. - Hartington, NE Starts at 9:30 AM LUNCH AVAILABLE Auctioneers Note: Hartington, NE is the place to be on Saturday, August 5th for our 13th Annual Primitive Auction. A major consignor to his year’s auction is the family of the owners of “The Walnut Store”. This general store opened its doors in 1872 under the name of “Chrismanville” but in 1895 the name was changed to “The Walnut Store.” This was the general store located in Knox Co. between Verdigre and O’Neill. This store was operated by the Cook Family since its inception until 1957. Due to the passing of that generation of the Cook family the remaining family members have decided to sell the property left in the Store and many items from the Cook homestead. Plus, we have many other great consignors who are participating in this fantastic auction. If you are into rustic design, or primitives or repurposing this is a must attend fun event. Come prepared to buy as we will be running multiple auction rings throughout the day. Many more items not included in this listing will be sold. All items must be removed the day of the auction.
