IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST
SUMMARY and RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the IT Support Specialist for Shur-Co®, LLC, you’ll have the
opportunity to explore and have hands-on experience within
a nationally known company. The IT Support Specialist will
be responsible for scheduled maintenance and updates to all
corporate computers and will assist in maintaining the company
IT Asset database. You’ll also be expected to respectfully and
cheerfully assist other employees with technical support on a
variety of IT topics. Additional duties include, but are not limited
to the installation of computer hardware and software, overall
network performance monitoring and troubleshooting, assisting
with the education and training on computer hardware and
software and implementation and maintenance of internal and
external company e-mail. Assisting the IT Manager with all manner
of special projects will be required. The IT Support Specialist will
interact with employees in several departments and locations;
working well with others is a must.
QUALIFICATIONS:

a. 2 year, IT related college or technical school degree

MECHANICAL DRAFTER
SUMMARY and RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Mechanical Design Drafter for Shur-Co, LLC, you’ll be
responsible for final sketches of proposed drawings, checking
dimensions of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to
another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
You’ll also be expected to perform design work independently
or with input from engineer/manager. The Mechanical Design
Drafter will be required to interact with sales and customers to
obtain technical information for designs as well as working with
production for optimal manufacturing design. You’ll be asked to
perform investigations, research, and installs both in house and
abroad as needed. Completing additional tasks and requests as
assigned is a must.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education and/or Experience
a. Associates degree is required
b. Must have the ability to interpret drawings and blueprints
2. Desirable Skills
a. Proficient in 3D modeling design
