LCTC Auditions For ‘Golden Pond’ Slated
The Lewis & Clark Theatre Company will be hosting
auditions for its upcoming production of “On Golden
Pond,” at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, and Monday, Dec. 16,
at Dakota Theatre, 328 Walnut St.
Show dates for “On Golden Pond” are Feb. 6-8 and
14-15 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 9 and Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. at
the Dakota Theatre. The play will be directed by Tara
Leonard.

Summer Band Christmas Concert Dec. 15
The Yankton Area Summer Band sponsored by
the Yankton Department of Parks and Recreation and
Service Center Federal Credit Union, will be hosting its
22nd annual free Christmas Concert on Sunday, Dec.
15, 2019, at 4 p.m. in the theater at the Yankton High
School/Summit Activities Center.
The Summer Band is proud to be part of the holiday
celebrations around the area and hopes you enjoy
happiness and good fortune this holiday season.
Many individuals and organizations have volunteered
their time and resources to make this special event as
festive as possible.
There will be refreshments and cookies donated by
the Service Center Federal Credit Union following the
concert in the high school commons area.
The Summer Band consists of volunteer musicians
from all around the area. The band will meet and
rehearse from 2-3:30 p.m. at the theater in the Yankton
High School/Summit Activities Center, then host the
concert at 4 p.m. with doors opening at 3:30 p.m.
No ticket is required for admission and the public is
welcome to attend.
