4-H Photo
FOMNRR Annual
Class Set Meeting Slated Sunday
At Clay County Park
For
Yankton
County
This summer, Yankton
County 4-H will be offering
a two session photography
class. The class will include
learning about the basics
of photography, all of the
different photography
categories that are offered
through 4-H, and also, what
judges are looking for in a
photograph.
The first session of the
class is Monday, July 17,
and will be held at the
Duck Pond, across from
Yankton’s Avera Sacred
Heart Hospital. The second
session is Wednesday, July
26, and it will be held at the
Yankton County Extension
Office. To allow for beneficial lighting conditions, the
classes will be held later in
the day, at 4 p.m., and run
until approximately 6 p.m.
Each participant is asked
to bring their own camera
if possible.
During the second
session, participants will
mount photos taken at the
first session so they are
ready to bring to Achievement Days. Three photos
from the first session
will be printed for each
participant at no cost. If a
participant would like more
than three photos printed,
additional photos will be
printed at their own cost.
This class is a great
way for youth to develop a
new hobby they could use
for the rest of their lives.
Photography helps people
think outside the box,
become more creative, and
see beauty in everyday life.

County 4H Intern, Abby
