Although the gray clouds were threatening us all day, it turned out to be a gorgeous Julie evening with great food, friends, music, and lovely weather! Rita has a passion for the arts in our community and has been a vocal supporter of local art adventures throughout Yankton for many years. The Summer Concert Series wrapped up this week with an outstanding concert by the Bridge City Big Band! They truly are an all-star group of musicians who come together each summer for the love of big band music! All summer long, we have been entertained by a variety of stellar performances including the Yankton Area Summer (Concert) Band, Wild Bills, Steel Groove and the Guilty Pleasures Orchestra. Thanks to our Summer Concert Series committee, Todd Carr and Kim Olson, for hours of communication, negotiation and knowing the right people!
