Yankton County area towns including Lesterville, Irene, Volin, Gayville and the Lewis and Clark Lake area respond to their
assigned regions to care for the patients until the ambulance arrives. First Responders of the Yankton County Search and
Rescue are also occasionally called out to assist ambulance personnel in and around Yankton. This network of trained EMS
