Scouting has proven
to be a valuable tool
in preparing youth
for life as productive
citizens and
tomorrow’s leaders.
The backbone of
our program is
a strong core of
volunteers who give
generously of their
time to ensure our
area youth have the
necessary tools to
thrive. Each one
of our units has a
Charter Organization
who helps keep the
unit strong. These
Charter Partners play
an active advisory
role to the program
and are often
community based
service organizations,
churches, ?re
departments or
special interest
groups. It is no
surprise that groups
with such high sets of
values are dedicated
to helping the next
generation.
The BSA is dedicated
to educational
programming at all
levels and in 2014
will make a dedicated
and dynamic shift
in programming to
promote Science,
Technology,
Engineering and
Mathematics (STEM).
In a world driven by
technology the BSA
looks forward to a
perfect partnership
between our outdoor
traditions and the
STEM aspects found
within.
