This business closed in the fall of 2011 and the owners made no attempt to sell or market the property. After several requests by community members and with the support of several businesses, the MDF pursued purchasing the property. The MDF sought to purchase the property prior to it being foreclosed on, as then it would have been tied up in legal proceeding for at least another year. The MDF purchased the property on November 19th, 2012.
